DESTINATION ALBION PARK

Detom Design designed, provided structural engineering and managed the manufacture of town entry features, public artworks and heritage pavement inserts for Shellharbour City Council. The project is located in the town of Albion Park on the NSW South Coast.

We explored the town's strong cultural heritage with its Aboriginal leaders, early land grants, dairy farming innovation and family lines that carry through to today. We experienced the beauty of the escarpment with its distinctive plant life. We engaged with the local community, gathering feedback from schools, local business, RTA, Council and residents.

The final designs celebrate the unique cultural, heritage and physical characteristics of the township and its environs.
