IRONBARK PLACE

These tree-like forms in their grassy understorey stand at the focal point of a Landcom medium density housing development in Mt Annan.

The artwork is a response to the tall eucalypts found growing in the local vegetation community and their distinctive bark . The sculpture uses rust finished mild steel selected from a predetermined robust materials palette.

This public artwork was designed and its manufacture and installation managed for Siteplus by Renèe Tenhave. Detom Design resolved the structural requirements for this public artwork.
