TALANA ESTATE

This public artwork is located at the presentation face of Landcom's 400 lot residential subdivision at Edmondson Park. Landcom sought advice on the visual opportunities offered by the 400 metre long acoustic barriers; landscape and urban design issues for the subdivision; and assistance in obtaining approvals from Liverpool Council.

Detom Design created a bold public artwork for the Talana Estate entry and the Camden Valley Way streetscape.

The artwork is a response to current public health issues surrounding inactivity and lack of community. The robust public artwork presents people of all ages participating in recreation, at play and interacting with others.
