GARVAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL RESEARCH

Landscape architect Renèe Tenhave worked closely with architects and engineers throughout the design phase of this state of the art medical research facility in the New South Wales Southern Highlands. She developed detailed design for this cool climate landscape designing for entry zone interest; maximising views from staff areas; ease of pedestrian access; designing wind breaks for protection from strong westerly winter winds; and low maintenance swale plantings.

Detom Design also provided after care maintenance advice to assist with establishment and long term success of the gardens.
