STONY RANGE RESERVE

Landcom owned a parcel of land containing remnant bushland at Blackbutt in Shellharbour. Detom Design personnel were engaged to prepare a Vegetation Management Plan for the reserve. The VMP was co-ordinated with bushfire risk management requirements and ecological outcomes. Extensive weed removal was carried out. Buffer planting of locally native plants was installed to protect the remnant vegetation from edge effects. Fencing was installed and designated entry points created to manage access into and through the reserve.

Following our management of the two year maintenance period the reserve was successfully handed over to Shellharbour Council in excellent condition as a largely self sustaining system.
